Eucalyptus oil is commonly used in cosmetics, mouthwashes, liniments and ointments, toothpastes, cough and cold medications, and lozenges.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil is a powerful antiseptic and is excellent support for the respiratory system. It helps with coughs, flu, asthma, throat infections, sinusitis and bronchitis, and pneumonia. It soothes inflammation and helps break down mucus. Blend one drop of eucalyptus essential oil with a tablespoon of carrier oil and massage gently into upper chest and neck to promote clear breathing.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil is analgesic and anti-inflammatory. Adding it to a massage blend for clients who have sore muscles, rheumatism, and arthritis, excellent for pain relief.

Eucalyptus Oil is a powerful antimicrobial, making it ideal for preventing the spread of bacterial and viral infections, as well as for general cleaning. To make an anti-bacterial room spray dissolve 25 drops of eucalyptus essential oil into a teaspoon of vodka and then pour into a 250ml spray bottle filled with distilled water. Shake before spraying. Use to cleanse the surfaces and air.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil is anti-bacterial, antiseptic and a natural pain reliever that is effective at treating wounds, minor burns, cuts, bites and stings. It prevents infection and speeds up the healing process.

Cooling, refreshing and uplifting, Eucalyptus Essential Oil helps to clear the mind, stimulate mental activity and aid concentration. Along with Cypress and Roman Chamomile, Eucalyptus is one of the most important oils for treating “city” stress.

Add 10 – 15 drops to a diffuser.

Alternatively add 5 drops to a warm bath, or 1 to 2 drops to your chosen base oil for a relaxing massage.
